Amati 10" HMS Bounty 1st Step Ship Model Kit

The HMS Bounty is part of Amati's 1st Step Beginners Ship Model Kit Series.  The Kit does not require any previous model maker experience, and no specific tools aside from glue are required.  You are free to embellish it with external accessories or add your own decorations on bulwarks and decks.  Best suited for children twelve and older with adult supervision.

The HMS Bounty was a 230 ton sailing vessel commissioned as a merchang vessel.  In 1787 she was assigned to the Royal Navy for voyages of exploration.  She became famous above all for the mutiny of her crew, led by Fletcher Christian, angainst her captain, William Bligh.
