The type 35 Bugatti was first produced in November 1924 as a race car prior to World War 2. It won over 1000 races making it Bugatti's most successful race car and set over 40 different world records. When introduced in 1924 at the Lyon Grand Prix, it was fitted with an eight-cylinder engine. At that time it had state of the art aerodynamics.
